Until the 29 February 2008, there's a new costume exposure in Paris at the Museum Galliera about the 20's decade, called "Les Années Folles". We can notably see costumes of Callot, Chanel, Heim, Jenny, Patou, Poiret, Talbot, Worth, etc... with influences of Lelong, Vionnet and also in the painting, deco art, or from countries (Japan, Russia, Africa). The fashion was to be free, chic and mannish at that time. The cost for an adult is 7 euros or 3,50 euros for a young from 14 until 26 years old. It's free for the children and teenagers. It's opened every day except on Monday. Here are more details and the address: Museum Galliera10 avenue Pierre 1er de Serbie 75116 Paris Métro : Iéna / Alma Marceau Web: www.galliera.paris.fr Direct link on the page (the text is in French): www.paris.fr/portail/Culture/Portal.lut?page_id=5854&document_type_id=2&document_id=33673&portlet_id=12995 Garbo was so nice at that time! Ruth Harriet Louise took this photo of her around 1928. This glowing dress was for the film "Woman of Affairs" but the scene was deleted.
