Hello,
I have reviewed some pictures of Garbo expressing tragedy and regrouped, as a drama experience, photos of celebrities having the same step, in order to obtain more images about this subject, interesting for my mime activity. Putting various photos together, it looks very impressive as if they understood the pain of each other like sisters, and making us witness of their amazing work as actor through expressive eyes and gestures .
I’ve read that Marilyn Monroe had followed trainings where she had to use her personal sad experience to play and that it could be perturbing sometimes . I wonder how Garbo, who lost members of her family very young, could manage this feeling on screen several times. Which actor training did she follow? For some people, it can be liberation to make it. In “Grand Hotel” and “Queen Christina”, she played the tears in her eyes, and each time she had disturbing sparkling eyes... It was special .
Here are photos of Garbo and, just after, photos of celebrities following the same mood as a black & white story. Here are the sisters of drama as dark sparrows:
Greta Garbo:
Garbo in “Anna Christie”
And now, the other celebrities:
Liv Tyler, perfect pose! Really garboish.
Halle Berry, really worried too.
Jodie Foster with the pose of thinker like Garbo.
Sharon Stone, reactive.
Michelle Pfeiffer, tender.
Demi Moore, melancholic.
Catherine Zeta-Jones wondering.
The drowning of Tori Amos?
Winona Ryder stressed!
Panicked Demi Moore…
Calista Flockhart, wild!
Nicole Kidman, drunk!
Isabelle Huppert smoking.
Nicole Kidman, trying to find a way...
Björk, making a blunder?
Britney Spears doubting.
Julie Delpy, frozen!
