Hi! I am looking for a good video-biography of Garbo. I recently bought "Hollywood Remembers: The Divine Garbo" but was somewhat disappointed. Has anyone seen the A & E Biography "Greta Garbo: The Mysterious Lady"? Is it any good? Does anyone have any other suggestions as to where I could get a good biography-video about GG? For example, I hear there was a really good one on TV awhile back but I was unfortunately not able to tape it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hello Spartacus! Yes I have seen the A&E biography a few years back and taped it off the channel. It was made in 1997. It was about an hour long. They have repeated it a few times in the past couple of years. It was pretty good in my opinion but I heard there was a two hour one on the E! Hollywood biographies show. I don't get that show though. I think you can get it on Star TV. Of course if we did get TCM network up :(here in Canada we would see excellent documentaries of her and all her movies!! They have even shown the movies The Temptress, and The Torrent which have never been on home video. There is only 4 films of hers I don't own and those are two of them. I keep checking a&e every once and a while to see what is coming up every month I'll post a message if I see that it's going to be repeated again. Of course I don't know if it will be broadcast where you are but i'll post anyway. talk to ya later!! ;D
