I just found that there was a film made of Sapho ( in fact many..but this image comes closet of whta i can imagine GG in..)
Cukor and Selznick wanted to make a Sapho film with GG....and all her girls on the island LESBOS

well, Montgomery Clift was also planned to be in the film as GGs young lover....
