Hello John and thank you so much for the list which fills us with anticipation for 2005. I really hope to see one day the full tests of "La Duchesse" as well, I have only seen extracts in various documentaries. Also to add in the program, the french channel "Histoire", has announced that it will pay tribute to Garbo, I think it will be in june 2005 probably with a documentary.

Hello John
If you are talking about the Huppert doing Garbo it is from the New York Times. There is only one picture with Huppert doing the famous Garbo pose with Wilson next to her. Just copy the link as a main adress and try to see it. I found it by searching on google news with "Greta Garbo" on the search engine. Try and let me know if there is a problem.
Thank you again for your kind words and I will try and find out more infos. Personally i have not yet recovered from the Two faced Woman uncersorced version.

Hello John and thank you (a little bit late), yes I would love to come to Berlin at some point especially if there is something on Garbo, so let us stay in touch.
Today I got this mail from the Garbo society at Hogsby (I became a member) where they give my some information on 2005, it sounds promising : "Hallo and thank you very much for your mail. I understand that you don´t understand the Swedish memberletter. The program for 2005 will be in English on our website in the end of Januari 2005. The postal museum/Postmuseum has an Garboexhibition 16 September 2005 - 26 March 2006. Lilla Nygatan 6, Stockholm. Open tuesday-sunday kl.11-16. In Högsby the Garboexhibition is open synday 18 September for a 100 birthday party kl.12-16. In the store PUB in Stockholm there will be some Garbo activities 12 September - 18 September. They have not yet planned the details. More informations later. The same for the Swedish Filminstitute. In the autumn 2005 the Cinematek will have the Garbofilm Ninotchka on show. More informations later. The Garbo Society will be represented in the international bookfair in Göteborg 29 September - 2 October and it will be about "Garbo 100 years". During the bookfair we will introduce two new books about Greta Garbo. One book published through Garbo´s relatives in US and another book, a novel in Swedish written by Tin Andersén-Axell. This novel will be published in January 2005 in Sweden. Thank you for the information about Forssa Silent Filmfestival. We have been in contact with them. In the Nordic center "Hanaholm" outside Helsinki, there will be some Garbo activities in September 2005 and we have recommended them to take contact with Forssa. Our bank here in Hogsby has told me that if you want to send money from a bank account in Europe to the bank account of the Garbo society you have to use this: SWEDSESS IBAN nr SE 48000000 81380 3051338 6. I hope this will be of some help when you will pay your member fee 2005. Best regards Elisabeth Angervall"

I've always thought Huppert looked a lot like Garbo, her mouth definitely.
