Hello some infos on our Divine
The following link shows un upcoming exhibition of photographs on Garbo at the Santa Barbara Museum in california from May until August 2005 to celebrate Garbo's centenial. I have read somewhere that there was going to be a touring exhibition on Garbo in 2005 which could start from the Santa Barbara museum and then tour other cities in the world including in Europe. So this might be the one. I will try and find out more on that.

You have also probably seen that there will be some stamps issued on 2005 for various celebrities from the US postal services. Among those to be honored, is Garbo of course for her centenial.
I have read in a forum also something about Kevin Brownlow preparing a documentary on Garbo for 2005, so we should watch for that.
One more thing. Last weekend I was in London with a firend and we went at the British Film Institute, which is now paying a tribute to George Cukor. On that night they showd his two Garbo films the immortal "Camille" and "Two faced Woman". I got one of the greatest surprises of my life while watching "Two faced Woman". Being used to the censored, sanitised version of "Two faced Woman", that we watch here in france and on tcm, I was amazed to see a version which seemed to be the original one. That is there was no telephone scene (which we knew that was added to satisfy censors, where we see Douglas finding out from the start his wife's identity). In this version Douglas finds out about her true identity only to the very end and it was quite different. In many scenes there are additional close ups of Garbo and she appears to be much more provocative and sensual than in the version most of us know. I couldnot believe it. I thought I was dreaming but my friend assured me that he was just as amazed.
